  • Abdominal separation and weakness (Rectus Diastasis)

  • Tailbone pain (Coccydynia)

  • Painful sex and pelvic pain (Genito-pelvic pain/penetration disorder)

What an appointment looks like with a pelvic health physio

  • DETAILED history of your health related to the whole body including bladder, bowel and pelvic floor function (the initial session can take 1 hour).  When you are working with a team of health professionals, communication between everyone can allow more effective, more efficient management.​​

​

  • Upper limb, mid back, lower back, hip, knee, ankle mobility and strength, all of which impact pelvic floor function!

​

  • Abdominal strength check

​

  • A visual or internal pelvic floor assessment
