HELLO!

Postpartum Physio is a platform where women can feel informed, optimistic and less alone when it comes to their pelvic health concerns.

Why do I care? I'm a mum of 2, a netballer, a casual runner, Pilates enthusiast and lover of chocolate and having completed further intensive postgraduate training, I wanted to spread as much information as I could to people who don't already know these things about their own body!

In over 9 years as a Physiotherapist I have gained extensive knowledge in sports injury management. As the human body is connected from head to toe, an intricate understanding of how the pelvic floor functions within this system is how I came to develop an expertise in guiding people with incontinence, prolapse and diastasis to return to the exercise they enjoy, specifically postpartum.

On a personal note....I own and use a pessary, use kegel balls and manage diastasis & prolapse even 4 years postpartum. It does not take over my day-to-day life and in fact I often forget I have them and I want every person with a vagina to experience this for themselves.

"Control the controllables during pregnancy and postpartum. Start in with your mindset and the rest will follow. These conditions do not define you"
